One of the most prolific bands of Britain's early 1980s ska scene, The Ska-Dows issued five singles as well as the Ska'd For Life. The band were essentially the Sax Maniax (drummer John Bassett, bassist Step Morley, guitarist Bev Doyle, sax player Andy Dummett) but with Tony Sybthorpe assuming vocal duties. Sybthorpe and Dummett resurrected the band in the late 1980s, performing at many ska festivals.
