The Sixth Extinction or TSX are a hard rock band hailing from Perth, Western Australia. The year of 2007 saw the beginning of the five piece as well as the band receiving a WAM (West Australian Music) Award for Heavy Metal Song of the Year for their track 'Broken Eyes'. Their tracks have been on high rotation on Triple J Unearthed with all securing a Top 5 place in the Metal charts. The band have recorded and released one EP,'Tragic Epic', and have a number of other tracks that were never officially released. In 2012 they won their second WAM Song of the Year award in the Heavy category for their track 'Walk Away'.
