The Sibleys live and work out of the corner of the Mojave Desert near Joshua Tree National Park. They own and manage a bar and music venue called The Palms, a solo establishment along a two lane ribbon of blacktop that cuts across the desert. This is Gram Parsons country where musicians since the 1960's have frequently sought refuge from the mainstream. With this in mind, imagine Ben Vaughn, a musician and record producer walking into a bar and behold the brother and sister group eeking out a bizaar rendition of an Oak Ridge Boys tune. He was smitten and further enough impressed to record a whole catalogue of their original tunes "live" in The Palms Bar, with no over dubs. The recording "Tuesday" features Laura Sibley on guitar and vocals, her brother James Sibley on drums and vocals, and Thom Merrick on bass.
