There are two bands named The Shots. 1. The Shots were a British psychedelic beat band of the mid-1960s who only kept this name for a brief time, before changing it to The Smoke. Notable track from their period as The Shots: 'Keep a Hold of What Got (Now Baby)'. 2. The Shots are a band formed in the heart of New Orleans, Louisiana with sounds unlike any other. With high school band members, Christoph Andersson and Ben Kahn, who are also 'New Orleans Center for Creative Arts,' as well as John Bland and Tom Mayer.
