The Shardells was an American 1960's rock & roll band from Chicago, Illinois. The singer's name at that time was Elaine DeMarchi and she was born in Chicago. She sang with a group of 7 guys and they played clubs and dances, etc., all around the Chicago area and eventually cut the single "Tell me That You Care" on one side (as Ellaine & The Shardells) and "Black Crack" on the other side, for the Music Forum records label in 1965. (Aka Elaine & The Shardells). User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
