The Shallow Type is an alternative rock band formed in 2005 in Tempe, Arizona. They have one full length album (The Mess I Made) and numerous EPs. The initial lineup consisted of guitarist/vocalist Brandon Goehner, rhythm guitarist Seth Wilson, bassist Roy Valencia, and drummer Brian Grosbayne. Brandon is the principal songwriter and he often plays acoustic sets consisting of Shallow Type material.
