The Shakurs were formed on the mean streets of Croydon in Summer 2006. They mix up punk with ska, dub, funk and hip-hop influences... The Shakurs are a band from South London. They are Jon Davies on Guitar/Vocals, Matt Watson on Guitar/Vocal, Sacha Marsac on Bass and Tom Weber playing drums. They mix all of their own musical influences from The Clash, Rage Against The Machine and Bedouin Soundclash to The Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Dead 60's and, of course, Tupac. They gig regularly in and around South London, although they are currently taking a hiatus as a result of university.
