THE SHAGGABLE SLUTS ------------------------Snotty ’77 inspired punk rock&roll An almost unhealthy obsession for obscure Punk rock is what drives the band. Huge record collections with rare bootlegs and "back to front" samplers serve as a source of inspiration for these Punk junkies. The early Punk rock sound is combined with lots of trashy rock and roll riffs and a slight touch of 50-iesR&R and surf. Cassette-tapes of THE DAMNED, THE BOYS, EATER and SLOPPY SECONDS are scattered all over the band's van. They also supported or toured with modern retro acts such as THE BRIEFS, THE STICHES, THE SPITTIN’ VICARS and THE SHOCKS. In 2004 the band underwent a line up change: Marcel B. (ex-circle of friends) became the new drummer and an extra guitarist was added: Mr Guzzi (ine every day liva an professional flamenco guitarist…no kid!!). This re-vamped the band sprouting over sixty gigs in 2004 and tours through the U.K. Scotland, Germany, Belgium and Austria. In 2005 the band toured less but infested more time in writing songs for a new full length witch is scheduled for spring 2006. Also the American label Radio ’77 Records (run by the singer and bass player of THE BODIES) expressed interested in releasing an 7” EP in the US. The Sluts (risen from the ashes of '77/streetpunk band THE YUPPIES) come from Arnhem Holland. The city that has always been and will always be: “A bridge to far”.
