Springing up in the mid-90's as a high energy punk outfit, the Secludes were a ball of nerves with a handful of hooks when they erupted onto the live circuit. Scoring gigs with groups like Bad Religion and Drain Bramageded on the strength of their self-released Good Luck at Life album, the band toured heavily throughout the second half of the decade while trying to spread their reputation. Crazy Bastard Records eventually took the bait and signed the group in 2000 to release Life Goes On. The lineup, which consists of guitarist Jason Rall, vocalist/guitarist Ammon Child, bassist Jeremy Child and drummer Adam Baily, remained stable through it all and continued on past their sophomore album to continue their brutal live schedule. The band is no longer active at this time. ~ Bradley Torreano, All Music Guide Releases: Good Luck at Life CD (Crazy Bastard Records, 1996) Blue 7" (Rise Records, 2000) Life Goes On CD (Crazy Bastard Records, 2000) User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
