The Scruts formed Feb 2004 under the name "Skinney Malynx". All members have previously played in bands together (Snoog and Dirty Mister Foster). The band name was changed in September 2004 to "The Scruts". In late March 2004 The Scruts (then known as Skinney Malynx) wrote some new songs and recorded 13 tracks in Grass Roots Studios in Cardiff which make up the "Hungry Hungry Jippos" CD. After taking some time off to write, The Scruts headed back in to the recording studio this time Frontline Studios in Caerphilly, where they recorded their currant CD Self tiled "The Scruts", released under the indie record label "Cat Corpes" The officialsite myspace.com/thescruts User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
