about

Late in 2006, Ruben (drums) and Jonathan (guitar) started making instrumental music. After several rehearsals, they decide to form a band and look for another guitarist. Jonathan met Italo, with whom he shared his musical taste, and they started composing the first songs, experimenting and fusing all kinds of sounds and arrangements without limiting themselves to one style only. After several months of composing, playing live and testing different musicians and instruments, the band settles down with a third guitarist. Late in 2007 an old friend of the band, Gonzalo (former Metamorphosis), joins them and stays as part of the band. Finally, in 2012 they complete the formation with bassist Alonso García (from Cecimonster vs Donka). After playing extensively over the years in Lima, they landed the opening slot for Sonic Youth's last ever headlining gig lat in 2011. The Satellite just released the "Epílogo/Caos" EP as they prepare the recording sessions for another full-length album due early in 2013.
