http://www.sanda.ge Musical group “The Sanda” was founded in the beginning of 1993, in Tbilisi, Georgia. The group began its activity in soft rock and blues genre. After this, there appeared folk rock elements. On the whole, Britain folk surpluses in sounding, but there are Georgian folk elements in some compositions too. After year and the half of working, “The Sanda” had held its first solo concert at the “Railway-men Culture House”, Tbilisi, and then this group had several solo concerts on the various stages of the city. “The Sanda” was participant and one of organizers of festivals “The Hands” (Theatre “Khazbegi”) and “Margarita” (the Park of Vake) which had been held in 1996 in Tbilisi. The tour areas of “The SANDA” included the cities of West and East sides of Georgia, also seaside’s regions of Adjara. In 1997, a musical festival “Protect the Black Sea”, had been held in Batumi, where were invited a lot of guests from different countries and one of them was “The SANDA” as a Headliner. At the same year, in spring they were participants of the great rock concert at “The Park of Vake”, after that, the group stopped its musical activity because of financial problems. In 2006 “The SANDA” gathered together again, renew working and founded “SANDA Records” with its own money, where the musicians of this band could record their music.
