The Same As Always are a modern pop-punk band, based in Oshawa, Ontario. The band was formed by cousins Dylan Lennon Beattie and Josh Finlan, after exchanging demos in the summer of 2016. Many of the band's early songs were written in Dylan's basement, and later fleshed out with the band before their first tour. In 2017, Dylan and Josh linked up with Ontario producer Terry Benn, and drum tech Trevor Johns, who played drums on the bands early EPs. They released their debut EP "These Four Walls" in the spring of 2018. The Same As Always currently consists of guitarist and vocalist Dylan Lennon Beattie, bassist Josh Finlan, and his brother, Shawn Finlan on the drums. Their new singles "8 Months" and "Bad News" were produced by Oshawa based producer, and OMA Nominee, Dan Bell of Nothing Special.
