"Modieval music for lordly leapers, leafy twig tweakers, saffron sound freakers, hi-heel sneakers, rocking frogs, ink drinkers, posiedon people, centaurs, kindly minotaurs, guitaurs, weirdies, biking vikings, laid-off valkyries, charcoal ghosts, jug bands from samarkand, gnostic brothers, lightning laugh lovers, thunder mothers, chocolate machine shakers, raw ramps and valentino vamps, mocassin maids and streamy wades, seashell stares, golden hairs and record players, trumpet tongue talkers & riverbank rockers." And even at times... "All pink and orange flash-powder and green neptune fizz, mothwings dust and seaweed, lavender and saffron smoke"... The Saffron Sect is essentially, technicolour tunes for tomorrow people...They play strangely appealing mixture of "modieval" flavoured folk rock, celestial psychedelia, jug band ragas & Tolkien country blues.
