1. The Runners are an indie-pop band, based in Hertford, Hertfordshire. They have recently signed to a small independent record label, Weekender Records (home to similar bands Look See Proof and Dogs). Their first single, 'Get In Line', was released on vinyl in mid 2007 with B-Side 'Familiar Faces'. The single was distributed over major music download sites and in material form as a vinyl in music chain HMV. Currently the band are touring and writing new material, a new single is expected in late October. The band have recently recorded a session for a 'New Music' radio show on popular station, Radio 1. Then session was highly regarded by the shows presenter, Steve Lamacq. 2. There is also a hip-hop production duo out of Florida named The Runners.
