Pop Punk and Hardcore are styles that meet more often than ever in this day and age. Through the mash up of bands all seeking to break the mold comes The Rookie Mistake! They are too heavy to be just another jumping band, but you'll be too busy singing along to the catchy lyrics to hardcore dance! Hailing from North Alabama, The Rookie Mistake started out as Brandon Moman (vocals/guitar), Jake Lott (drums), and Erik Roberts (bass), and eventually led to the addition of another guitarist, Brandon's older brother Blake Moman (guitar). The band currently records with a local friend named Matt Barnes (DGN), and strives for local shows and southeast tours.
