Formed 2001 in suburban Washington DC, The Rockvilles began playing out of two things. Boredom, and their love for back-to-basic 3 chord punk rock. Inspired by the likes of Screeching Weasel, The Queers, and the God Fathers of punk, The Ramones, the Rockvilles wrote simple yet catchy songs, mostly topping at the two minute mark. Through ruthless dedication and endless sacrifices the boys quickly gained a loyal local following. Recording numerous bedroom and garage recordings, they travelled to Newark, Delaware to record their debut full length with Nick Rotundo (Boy Sets Fire, Huntingtons) at the controls. Accompanied with Mike Holt (aka Mikey Huntington) as the main producer on the album. The album never saw an official release through a label, however it was made available by the band at all of their shows. Over the course of the next few years, with numerous lineup changes, the guys would go in and out of studios, record numerous demo's, and play hundreds of shows while still maintaining the diehard work ethic that the band was founded on. Fast forward to 2007. The band lands on a small independent record label (Poor Boy Records), ventures out on a very successful string of dates along the east coast, and released the album "Danger" in April of 2007, which was a much different sounding record than the previous ones. Influenced moreso by bands like Green Day and MxPx rather than the Ramones. The band recruited two new faces (Chad-guitar, vocals and Curt-bass) and welcomed
