The Rhythm Tyrants (Rochester, NY) are a hip hop group formed in 2008 that is comprised of Jonnie Bravado and Professor Gobbledygook (and many featured acts by friends). Jonnie Bravado, instrumentally savvy since a child, started to experiment with the sound of hip-hop with his piano and computer in his basement. Once he created a sound he liked, he awaited a musical P.I.C. (partner in crime). One night, after engaging in prolific drug abuse at college and the discovering of Prof-Gob's rhetorical eloquence, the duo recorded for the first time together in the storage room of their building.
