The Rhythm Kings formed in the city of Medan indonesia in 1967. They had previously consisted of Mawi Proto (bass / vocals), Mawan Ancient (lead guitar / vocals), Reynaldo Pangan (drums), and Muchsin (rhythm). Initially a band balls at school events of its era. The group relies on his vocal trio Darma, Darmawan, and this Darmawi in 1972 has produced recordings of pop songs, like Love Bersemi, pleas, Acts of Asmara, A Word, and Last Request. In the early 1970s, the Indonesian lyrical rock song through a recording recently discovered group of Bandung, Giant Step. Unfortunately, this recording did not move in the market so other rock group was only willing to produce a record company if the recorded songs sweet or pop. Rhythm Kings, including the most widely produced records compared with the two rival. In the age of eight in 1975, this group has produced seven albums, including one song album Karo Batak.
