The Reaganauts were a bizarre punk rock band that existed out of Fitchburg State College from Fall 2005 to the summer of 2007. Somehow mashing up the furious thrashing sounds of early 1980's hardcore punk with the pop sensibilities of turn of the century garage rock, the Reaganauts became well known for their frantic live performances that were as sloppy musically as they were energetic. After going their separate ways, members of the Reaganauts went on to various other groups. Singer-songwriter Justine Mainville was formerly half of bitpunk band Math the Band between 2007 to 2017, drummer Anthony Geehan was recruited to join Boston rock and rollers Hello Ninja, while guitarist/songwriter Stephen Bailey & bassist Thomas Chalifour have formed the Brooklyn-based Sharp Shadows.
