about

There are two bands with this name: • The Razorblades are a neo-surf rock band from Wiesbaden, Germany. Founded in 2002 by guitarist Rob Razorblade, the band created a style they call "21st Century Surf," a mixture of twang guitars, punk power and melodies as big as the ocean. Influences range from old school master Dick Dale to Neo-Surf acts like Slacktone and The Mermen. In 2004 and 2005 the band contributed a lot of songs to various samplers and finally found the time to record their second longplayer “The Dark Side Of The Beach” that was released 2006 on their own label General Schallplatten and have since performed throughout Germany and the rest of Europe. • The Razorblades were the prime original punk-band of Odense, Denmark. Released EP Forhadt Ungdom 1980. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
