about

Songwriter Martin Trollope is joined by Richard Milburn, David Garrick, Grant Lagan, Glenn Coyne and Carmen Green to form The Railway Club, from the coastal town of South Shields, UK. Currently, they are both recording and producing their debut album in our own recording studio which will be released in August through Newcastle-based label ‘Tiny Lights Recordings’. In 2011 they played Split Transmission in which a handful of bands played to a panel which included Tom Robinson of BBC 6music, David Burn from Detriot Social Club and Emma Howe from Sunderland's Spark FM. They then played at Split Festival in Sunderland later that year. They will also be releasing their debut single 'Broken Strings' via 'Tiny Lights Recordings' on 9th July 2012, with a launch night on 6th July 2012. http://therailwayclub.co.uk/ User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
