The Raggle Taggle Gypsys are an Irish band who play a mix of funked up trad, folk and rock. They were very well known on the Irish live scene for many years and built up quite a large and loyal following. The most recent members included: Mick Dunne on rhythm Guitar and Vocals from Monstrevin Co. Kildare, Tommy Cullen on Bass Guitar from Rathcoole Co Dublin, Dec Mofit on Vocals, rhythm Guitar, Bodhran and various other cruel and unusual percussive and jingly jangley instruments ;) from Kilnascully, Domo Thorpe on Drums and Percussion from Newbridge Co. Kildare and the Fitzharris brothers, Ray on Fiddle and Tommy on Flute, Low whistles and Tinwhistle from Kilteale in Co Laois. Other members over the years included, Steve McGrath, Chris Connelly, Derek Conroy and Eddie O'Neil. They mostly concentrated on live gigs at home and abroad and were noted for their fun and lively Performances. This recording is the result of one of few attempts to record an album before the band went their seperate ways in 2005.
