Formed from a sprawling mess of parties in East London at the end of 2005, The Racket are a tight, aggressive, high octane mix of classic rock and roll with a dance/punk attitude. The Racket are a four-piece band, based around the established songwriting partnership of Morgan and Thor, featuring long-time friends Nicky on guitar and Andy on drums. A barn in the middle of the country became the venue for the early development of the group. After collecting as much vintage equipment as possible and setting up a rough recording enviroment they set about creating an atmosphere of energy, vitality and fun. Within the period of a long creative weekend they had produced 10 tracks and thanks to their recording skills and knowledge, had a demo ready to start getting gigs.
