The Quantize use a blend of powerful rhythms, distinctive guitar melodies and striking vocal lines to create an uplifting polyphony of sounds which are contemporary, engaging and fresh. On the Drums and Bass Guitar, Sam Lawson and Thomas Ottley liaise well, both locking with punchy, staccato rhythms, with quirky off-kilter bass lines, and erratic progressive reggae-esque beats. Overall a transparent, tight relationship, on and off the field. On Lead Guitar, The talented James Branton adds to the diverse melting pot, rock influenced guitar riffs, subtle guitar licks all infused with gracefully flowing chords. Distinctive vocal phrasing and bellowing, emotive lines, Matthew Olver adds a hook to remember, crafting honest and meaningful lyrics. Matt bursts the vocals across the rest of the band using all his lungs, soul and energy. Moral is high and with four big brains, hopefully the future will be an exciting one, crafted by four truly honest individuals. The Quantize are Matt, Tom, James and Sam. ..
