The Psychobilly Kadillaks began as a Johnny Cash cover band in the winter of 1998. In fact, they can still play just about any Johnny Cash song you’d like. This rabble-rousin’ rockabilly / classic outlaw band of restless punk musicians has been bringing their brand of twang to the Chicago / Midwest area for quite some time. Combining original material with classic covers, the Psychobilly Kadillaks released their debut e.p.“13” in 2000, the new album “Pity the Shape I’m in” (2004) finds the Kadillaks raising the bar while exploring new sounds. Recent Finalists in the Midwest Twang off competitioin, the Psychobilly Kadillaks have highlighted shows at Schuba’s, the Double Door, Martyr’s and other top clubs in the Tri-State area.
