The Private Language is a dance and electro-pop music project formed in 2020 by American Idol alumnus Blake Lewis and EDM producer KJ Sawka. Sawka and Lewis originally crossed paths amid the vibrant Seattle hip-hop and rave scene and quickly struck up a friendship. The duo are signed to Black Hole Recordings and are based in Las Vegas, Nevada. They released their debut single, a cover of Tears For Fears's "Everybody Wants to Rule the World", on May 4th, 2021.
