Started in the beginnings of the current millenium, and self-styled players of "lamentin' music", The Pickpockets are a rowdy up-and-coming band from Texas, whose first tracks are available on the internet in various places... they are currently involved with several music events, and play what can best be described as gritty, angry Bar Blues. Their lead singer, Kady, also plays guitar, and the rest of the band is currently comprised of Sam on bass, Curtis on guitar and backing vocals, and Joseph (aka Jesus Cristo) on the piano. Watch out for their inevitable album release soon, and if you are lucky enough to see them live, take advantage.
