The Peppermint Trolley Company was an American band of the sunshine pop genre, credited with singing the Brady Bunch theme song in the show's first season. While the instrumental music track was performed by the Peppermint Trolley Company, the vocals were sung by the studio singers Paul Parish, John Beland and Lois Fletcher.[1] Formed in Redlands, California in 1967, Peppermint Trolley Company released one album and five singles on the Acta label. The original line-up included Jimmy Faragher (vocals, bass, guitar), Danny Faragher (vocals, keyboards), Casey Cunningham (drums) and Patrick McClure (guitar, vocals).[2] McClure was later replaced by Greg Tornquist.[3] In 1969, Jimmy and Danny Faragher, Cunningham and Tornquist left their recording contract with Acta to form the rock/soul group, Bones. The band's song "Baby You Come Rollin' Across My Mind" peaked on the charts at number 59 in the summer of 1968. They made many notable television appearances, including Mannix, The Beverly Hillbillies, Happening '68 and Upbeat User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
