The Page Boys were a psychedelic garage rock group from Texas. The group consisted of Richard Van Vliet on drums, Ronnie Hill on bass, Mark Kaye on lead guitar, and Tom McCarty on vocals. They cut one of the great underground 45s of the 1960's, "All I Want", an original by Tom McCarty and Mark Kay. From the opening fuzztone guitar and drum beats you know this record is going to deliver, and it does, with solid rhythm, good harmonies and a wild scream followed by Mark Kay's amped up guitar solo. The Page Boys played alongside a number of legendary groups during their relatively short lifespan, including the Yardbirds, the Turtles and the Everly Brothers.
