The Orkestra started out as a garage-based experiment when Eetu Pylkkänen (bass) and Erno Liukkonen (drums) started to jam with each other. Quickly they got the song "Diverse Shell" together and soon after that Lauri Liukkonen (guitar) came along too. The playing continued in the Liukkonen's yardhouse and few other songs were written in the process. During the demo-recording sessions in December 2005, Jussi Mikkola (vocals / guitar) came along.
