'The Organic Lawn Management' are a Folk Rock band from the rural fields of Worcestershire, England. They are a four-piece band consisting of Wes Dean, Matt Stuttard, Luke Mead and Josh Butler. 'The band was established on the 3rd May 2009, at the house of Matt 'Organic'. Wes, Luke and Matt started out meeting together to practice playing their guitars together and adopted an Alternative Rock stance. For months, they lacked a vocalist and drummer. But then, when journeying in Luke's car on way to one of their increasingly-often jamming sessions, Wes picked up 'The Jack of Hearts' (Luke's iconic guitalele), and burst into a rendition of Woodie Guthrie's Car Song. With Luke providing strong backing vocals, they suddenly discovered that perhaps acoustic music was the way to go. After a successful jamming session in a dusty, half-converted barn, they decided to form an acoustic trio. They reconvened the following week, and with the addition of Josh 'Organic' on bass, the ground-breaking 'The Organic Lawn Management' were formed. They began playing a cover of Lynyrd Skynyrd's Sweet Home Alabama, as well as a version of The Kinks' Village Green Preservation Society. After this initial success they turned their hands to songwriting and began work on their first album, Capacity for Conversation. The album was finished by September 2009 and features songs written by all the members of the band and features the songs "Southern Side of the Sea" and "See you on the Starry Coast". User-c
