The Omega Moos is a live, improv-based side-project comprised of Brendan Bayliss (guitar) and Ryan Stasik (bass) from Umphrey's McGee, and Jamie Shields (keyboards) and Darren Shearer (drums) from the New Deal. The band's repertoire consists mostly of covers of dance-heavy hits from the 70's and 80's, with plenty of similar dance-oriented jams scattered throughout. The emphasis of a Moos show is on pure fun, both for the four musicians on-stage and for their eager fans on the dance floor.
