Genre : Dance Biografie : Edwige was born on the 21st of November in Gent. Her exotic appearance is inherritated by her mother who was born on the isle of Mauritius. Altough she knew very soon she was made for showbusiness,she wanted to guarantee her future and graduated in 1999 her diploma for bookkeeping in Gent. During her high school years she met many different people whom predicted her a beautiful feature in the big musicworld.It didn't take long before she started with singing backing-vocals by Bart Kaëll and Helmut Lotti in 1993. When she turned 16 she won the quarter finales of the soundmixshow with the song of Vanessa Williams (Save the best for last). After that she danced a half year with 'timeshift'who became famous with "Don't you feel the beat". A couple of years latere she met Phil Wilde, producer of 2 UNLIMITED, Def Dames Dope, Technotronic, Soulsister,... Together with DJ Pedroh van danscotheek "Oh" in Gavere, created Phil Wilde "The Oh". Their first single "Won't you show me the way" was good for a place in the top 30 and the second single 'Got to be free' got to place 6 in that same ultratop. Her third single "I'm on my way" was a poppy song with a catchy tune and a swinging groove. The last single known was "Forever in my life".
