Forged in the fog of San Francisco, Noble Savages’ mission is to bring a rock ‘n roll dance party wherever they go. Lively vocals, out of this world guitar solos, and tasty basslines sit atop rock-solid rhythms that will keep your feet movin’ and your body groovin’. Noble Savages formed in late 2012. After their former cover band dissolved, vocalist Ryan McBrearty and bassist Kyle Rousseau decided to embark on a new musical project that focused on creating original music that would capture the essence of life in the city and serve as the soundtrack for San Francisco’s nightlife. As the great recession gave way to a vibrant era of growth and innovation for the region, Noble Savages was inspired to experiment in bringing cross-genre elements into their brand of rock. The group drew upon the classic sounds of funk, blues, and reggae to forge a unique sound. Drummer Andrew Crawford came aboard in 2013, infusing his experience playing world music and a taste for hard-hitting rock rhythms. Between 2015 and 2017, Noble Savages released two self-produced albums, “When the Dust Settles” and “Now and This”, playing a cascade of live shows along the way. The then six-piece band invigorated audiences with favorites like “Tell Me” and “Dodge Van” while appearing at dozens of venues around the Bay Area.
