There are two bands that go by "The Night Terrors": 1) Melbourne instrumental heavyweights Night Terrors offer a mind-melting mix of dark synth magic, thunderous dreamscapes and other-worldly electronica. Featuring vintage horror synth, breakneck rhythms and the haunting theremin melodies of Miles Brown (student of Russian theremin queen Lydia Kavina), Night Terrors have earned a reputation as one of Australia's most unusual and original acts. The Night Terrors have toured with Hawkwind (UK), Black Mountain (CAN), Melt-Banana (JPN), Serena Maneesh (NOR) Nick Oliveri (USA), and shared the stage with Lou Reed (USA), Goblin (IT), Laurie Anderson (USA), Boris (JPN), Bardo Pond (USA), Marc Ribot (USA), Electric Electric (FR), Midnight Juggernauts (AUS), HTRK (AUS) and many more. The band has toured Europe extensively and appeared at international festivals such as VIVID Live (AUS), Polyhymnia (DE), Bracara Extreme Fest (Portugal), Denovali Swingfest (DE), For All The Cows Fest (AU) and Incubate (NL). Following the release of two stellar EPs “The Night Terrors” and “Lightless” through Unstable Ape Records, The Night Terrors' debut full length album “Back To Zero” was released in April 2009 through Australian label EXO Records. "Back To Zero" was reissued for release in Europe/USA/Japan through TRENDKILL Recordings (France) in September 2010.
