The Night Lights produce melodic, electronically rooted songs crafted to excite the mind and awaken the soul. Together, some of their influences include Ulrich Schnauss, Hammock, Explosions in the Sky, The Album Leaf, Brian Eno, M83, and Sigur Ros. The songs are generally a combination sequenced beats, keys, vocals, and manipulations of other analog gadgetry, in equal parts with fx-driven guitar, electric bass, and airy vocals. The sounds range from beat-driven, epic electronic ballads to ideas that are more ambient, reflective, and atmospheric. The Night Lights ultimately hope to create music that makes people happy, with deep atmospheric soundscapes, strong, intricate beats, catchy melodies, and maybe even a little bit of love thrown in for good measure.
