The Newspaper is a polish indie, post punk band. They formed in the 2010 in December in Opole. The idea for the music cames out from Kamil Kawalec and Kamil Jaworski and after a couple of months they found a drummer Daniel Pławszewski and after that a bass player Przemek Rząsa, which matched them perfectly and filled the empty sort in the band. The 'papers are inspired mainly by the 80's music, but you can also hear some indie rock, alternative and for sure post punk sounds. They define themselves as a second wave, but they don't want to be closed on only one genre, they are still experimenting.
