The New Wave Hookers are the inventors of the platonic pro- pot- post- positive- porn- power- psychedelic- pop- punks. To formulate it with words of the press: „Beatles with Aphetamine in their ass“, „Master of postpubertarian Flower- Power- Softerotik- punkrocks“, or, to sum it all up, „the essence of piop- history of the last 25 years“. To put it short: The New Wave Hookers, consisting of Herschel Martian (drums), Sgt. Pecker (git) and Boom Boom Valdez (b), took theitr duty of writing genuine hits very serious. After the LP’s „Dare Tit-list fuzzed aircunt“ and „Kings in slatanic service“, they released the work „(music from) Pornschlegel – The Krauts‘ Meteor“, this time produced by Rod Gonzalez (DIE ÄRZTE), who also published it on his Label Rod Records (www.rodrec.de). The LP reaped 11 points in VISIONS and chief editor Dirk Siepe could not refuse to state: „An astonishing, almost breathtaking evidence that Best Bands of the World can really orginate from Germany.“ A tour followed with the KILLER BARBIES from Spain as well as with the legendary DEE DEE RAMONE (www.deedeeking.net). No matter if they played with Tussi, Assi or DIE ÄRZTE (www.bademeister.com) – the Shower- power- Trio par excellence convinced every time. We’re writing the year 2002: The New Wave Hookers are still eager to publish new material and that’s exactly what they’re doing. The new Album is called „ASS & FREDERIC“.
