Artist
Jazz drummer Tony Williams put together this short-lived jazz fusion quartet in 1975, featuring bassist Tony Newton, pianist Alan Pasqua, and guitarist Allan Holdsworth, named after his influential earlier group The Tony Williams Lifetime. The New Tony Williams Lifetime (featuring an almost entirely different line-up to the original The Tony Williams Lifetime) released two albums; 1975's Believe It and the following year's Million Dollar Legs. The group disbanded in 1977 when Williams formed a new group under the original The Tony Williams Lifetime banner.
