There are at least three bands called The New Creatures: 1. A Dutch band from Eindhoven, having Tonefloat Records as their record company. 2. A US goth band. "This talented band leapt into the public eye when they were unceremoniously dumped from a The Sisters Of Mercy show in Philadelphia for being, in A.E.'s opinion "too goth" to share stage with him." Working with several guest musicians, the current line-up features amongst Mark also: K Tiger Koehn (Drums), Bret Levitt (Guitars) Johnathan Mooney (Keyboards) and for the recording of "Cunning, Baffling, Powerful!" also Julia Kent from 'Rasputina' on cello and Anca from 'Maria Excommunicata' on vocals as guest musicians took part. The question if the band name might cause confusion to Siouxsie and Budgies band Mark has clear words: "Sometimes.
