Dave Brubeck's quartet with his sons keyboardist Darius, drummer Dan and Chris on bass and trombone. Originally called Two Generations of Brubeck when they first appeared in concert, the family quartet was never satisfied with that name. After two releases on Atlantic in the early 1970s, the remainder of their recordings in that setting were made as The New Brubeck Quartet, disbanding after the departure of Darius Brubeck.
