1) The Nervous Breakdowns were started by Keala Ramos in San Francisco back in 2001. The name was conceived as a dream band by him and his friends in college thus reflecting issues such as adjusting to a new city, college tuition, drugs, donuts, coffee, mid-terms, etc. Notorious for crashing outdoor events and street fairs they earned a reputation for showing up uninvited providing rock to the passerby folk weather they were embracing the sound and watching or holding their ears and running. Evolving from the street shows they were so notorious for they are now a full fledged stage band. Founded during The Great Drinking Binge of 2004 and featuring an ever changing lineup... they finally managed to get their shit together long enough to record the album "Our God Is Awesome!" in 2006.
