Their music is heavily influenced by modern rock groups, such as The Strokes, and indie rock groups like The Vaccines and Arctic Monkeys. They have been a band since they were barely teenagers and their original music reflects their coming-of-age experiences filtered through a sound and musical talent mature beyond their years. The Narwhals are made up by Dylan Minnette (vocalist/guitarist), Zack Mendenhall (bass), Cole Preston (drums) and Braeden Lemasters (vocalist/guitarist).
