In a return to their garage band roots, Emmy-nominated super producers T.I. Jakke and Karl-Ola Kjellholm (Ava Max, Lauv, R3hab, Enrique Iglesias, Daddy Yankee, French Montana, Shaggy, Goo Goo Dolls, and Lady Gaga) come crashing onto the techno scene with fresh Electronica phenomenon The N3w N3w. Like Max Martin, Shellback, RedOne, and Dr Luke, T.I. Jakke and Karl-Ola Kjellholm started out in gritty rehearsal spaces and played in numerous rock bands. Their pop assension only came in the years after they were signed together at the legendary label EMI with their arena rock band The Pusher, and The N3w n3w represents a homecoming to unbridled, high-energy, hardcore raw music. The group draws upon the nostalgia of 90s Alternative Electro-Garage sensations like Fat Boy Slim and Teddy Bears, and simultaneously incorporates the kind of hit-making sounds associated with the Big Beat giants of today. Proving out-of-the-gate that the world will soon know their name, the N3w N3w’s debut single, “She Di king,” featuring Persian-Jamaican rapper and vocalist SYDNY, will be the main soundtrack of FIFA 2021.
