The Mystic Man, "Maui Built, Cali Grown" has been into music for all his life and enjoys a wide variety of music genre. He moved to California as a teenager where his cousins had a recording studio and spent his highschool years listening to them rap and meeting people from all over the underground hip-hop scene. At 16 the S.W.A.T. raided the studio while his cousin was recording and "Kallahan" Harry Jr. made a song with the audio -a story he shares. "I didn't know how to rap back then, I was more into rock but I wanted to learn so my cousin Jamez the Girl got me into writing and I began studying Jedi Mind Tricks lyrics in computer class instead of doing the work - with no audio - just lyrics. I found their use of metaphor & simile inspiring & new to me & before I knew it I was practically fluent in subtle verbal magical tact, while mainstream became Satanic plastic trash - I had read the Bible front-to-back, & as the propaganda warped the mass in cumulative gas-lighting of the past - obtuse forgot about that - while I graduated rap - but the plot twist wrecked the niche reckless all due to spineless sellouts who cashed in their souls for septic, now get this: I could have parroted too like you & speak only whats class approved & maybe then I'd be 'cool' - let validation manage you?
