The Myddle Class consisted of Dave Palmer (vocals), Rick Philp (guitar), Danny Mansolino (organ), Charles Larkey (bass), and Michael "Myke" Rosa (drums). The name of the group early on was The King Bees (1964) and were from the Passaic Valley area of New Jersey. They changed their name to The Myddle Class in 1965. They signed with Tomorrow label, which was part of Atlantic-Atco, and released "Free As The Wind" in December of 1965. It was written by Goffin and King. The flip side was Dylan's "Gates of Eden". Their second single was "Don't Let Me Sleep Too Long" backed with I Happen To Love You". In 1967 they signed to Cameo-Parkway label and released one last 45.
