The Munchies are a trio from Finland playing a gloomy kind of alternative surf-rock, named by themselves as "funeral surf". Their debut-album "Funeral Surf" was released in the fall of 2006 under Sideffect Records. Album was followed by an ep "Allowance" in 2007. Currently The Munchies are preparing to record their second as of yet untitled full length album. The band consists of Teemu Tanner (guitar), Visa Mäkinen (bass) and Max Mäkinen (drums). 3. The Munchies are an English Pop/punk band from Wiltshire, England. The Munchies formed in the summer of 2006, just as the previous bands they were in ended.
