The Motion Below are a Post-Hardcore quartet blasting out of Melbourne, Australia. Having originally formed in 2016, the band quickly etched their mark through the Melbourne music scene with their debut EP, ‘Reform/Converge’. The release of the debut saw them successfully gain support slots for the likes of Buried In Verona, Belle Haven, Stepson and more. Fast forward to November 2018, The Motion Below partnered with Evan Lee and Ash Daws from The Loud Noise Estate, stepping into the studio with the aim of creating something unique and unlike what anybody else is currently doing, the band brought their extended play, ‘Cronus Complex’. 'State of Decay' and 'Figureheads' were received into the world with huge appraisal, snapping up consecutive radio plays on triple j's The Racket & short.fast.loud as well as positive reviews from numerous publications across Unearthed and the like with the release of 'Cronus Complex'. Entering 2020, The Motion Below wasted no time in unleashing the new follow up single, 'Dead Ends' upon the world. The new single quickly scored airplay on triple j's short.fast.loud as well as Unearthed's TOPS, with numerous positive reviews to boot.
