There are at least three known groups called The Moonlighters. 1. The Moonlighters were an American rock and roll group with singer and guitarist Curtis Wren and guitarist Joe Snyder. They recorded in 1958 "Rock-A-Bayou Baby" and "Broken Heart". 2. British singer-songwriters David Martin, Chris Arnold and Geoff Morrow formed a soft pop vocal group called The Moonlighters in the mid-1960s. They released just one single, 'Too Late to Come Home' b/w 'We'll See It Through' (May 1966). The three songwriters would pen songs for the likes of Billy Fury, Cliff Richard and Cille Black, before forming another group together in the early 1970s: Butterscotch 3. The Moonlighters are (or were?) a 1920s and 1930s jazz-themed group fronted by Bliss Blood, formed in 1998. The Moonlighters have released 4 cds on their own label, Onliest Records, and released a 5th cd on WorldSound Records on July 14, 2009, and have toured Germany four times. The line-up at some point included Bliss Blood on ukulele and vocals, Cindy Ball on vocals and guitar, Raphael McGregor on steel guitar and Rus Wimbish on bass.
